One of the most famous cafes around. It&#39;s perfect for breakfast or lunch as they offer a wide array of dishes suitable for both of the occasions.And the atmosphere is nice too :)

Cafe La Cigale

Lovely little cafe, open every day early morning til mid afternoon. Does a great selection of all day breakfasts, as well a comprehensive menu, right up to a full roast dinner. No fancy coffee menu but the regular house coffee is great. Staff always helpful and friendly and you&#39;re not kept waiting for ages for your food. I make a point of calling in whenever I&#39;m in the area.

Attending the cabbage patch to watch the rugby on Sunday afternoon to get treated as though I was lower class being stuck outside in a marquee on a park bench when paying near &pound;6 per pint with no heaters in the height of December is a joke! Having no mention in email when the booking confirmation came through so didn&rsquo;t dress to be sitting outside in -1 temperatures. Rude staff who didn&rsquo;t help and ended up arguing about whether myself and my family were from the same household or not. They need to look at their staff values as without custom the bar staff would no longer have a job! It use to be an enjoyable experience coming to this pub once upon a time to which it is currently no longer.

My visit to the shack was very pleasant. Found them on a wowcher deal and the staffs were busy but lovely.
